BitDefender® announced today the posting of an online survey to gauge consumer awareness and perceptions on the topic of internet security. Respondents will be asked to complete a short survey that includes questions about the level of satisfaction with their current security solution, perceptions of the “big three” security vendors, which e-threats concern them the most, and the features they find most important in an internet security solution.
Respondents who complete the survey will receive a $10 discount coupon toward any BitDefender Desktop Product. The BitDefender discount coupon will be valid through Sept. 30, 2008.
“BitDefender is surveying consumer perceptions of the security industry in an effort to fully understand the issues they find most pressing,” said Bogdan Dumitru, BitDefender’s chief technology officer. “By better understanding what they are looking for, BitDefender will continue to develop security solutions that meet consumer needs.”
